Jonathan Gates was born in Sheridan and grew up in the mountain community of Story, enjoying all that the outdoors has to offer.  After attending Sheridan High School and graduating from the University of Wyoming, he returned to Sheridan County and spent over 20 years as an environmental compliance manager in the oil and gas industry.  During this time, he gained experience in regulatory compliance with State and local agencies, and construction implementation and project management experience. As a member of the Sheridan County Community for nearly 50 years, Jonathan has extensive knowledge of the area and the people who make it their home.  As such, he decided to shift his focus and put his experience to work helping people buy and sell real estate in the community he knows best.  When not at work, he enjoys adventure travel, time in the Bighorn Mountains with his dog and a flyrod, powersports, and leisure time with family and friends.
