Born and raised in Sheridan, Ian Knutson has deep roots in the community and a lifelong appreciation for the landscapes and people that make the region special. After graduating from Sheridan High School, he attended the University of Wyoming and later completed his degree in Forestry at the University of Minnesota. His time living in Laramie, Denver, Colorado Springs, and Cottage Grove, MN broadened his perspective, but Sheridan ultimately drew him home in 2012.

Ian has been a Realtor for 12 years and brings a steady, analytical, and client‑focused approach to every transaction. Working in a smaller market has given him hands‑on experience across residential, land, and a wide range of property types. Clients value his calm demeanor, thoughtful communication, and ability to break down complex decisions with clarity and confidence. As an introvert who enjoys meaningful one‑on‑one interactions, Ian focuses on building trust and long‑term relationships rather than quick transactions.

Outside of real estate, Ian spends as much time as possible in the mountains—hunting, fishing, hiking, and golfing with his wife Angie, and their son, Sawyer.  He is grateful to raise his family in the same community that shaped him and takes pride in helping others find their place in Sheridan.
